
Ana Catarina Pereira
Ana Catarina Pereira is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Translational Health at the Center for Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology Research (TBIO) | Health Research Network (RISE-HEALTH). She holds a PhD in Health Sciences, with a specialization in Biomedical Sciences, and a Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, both from the University of Coimbra.
Ana Catarina Pereira is currently involved in international scientific projects within the Pre-clinical & Translational Neurosciences and Environment & Healthy Lifestyles groups. Her research focuses on developing scalable digital solutions for translational health, particularly in the context of neurological and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, with the aim of improving healthcare outcomes and promoting mental and cognitive health. In addition, she contributes to initiatives that support the monitoring of the health and response capacities of frontline responders in emergency and disaster scenarios.
