Tânia Silva, who holds a degree in Environmental Health and a master's degree in Hygiene and Safety in Organizations from the Porto School of Health, stands out as a committed professional driven by a passion for creating healthier and safer environments. Her academic journey has provide her with extensive knowledge and skills, enabling her to make meaningful contributions to the well-being of individuals and organizations alike. Underlining her dedication to advancing the field, Tânia's master's thesis, titled “Towards human-centered design of supermarket checkout counters,” is a testament to her commitment. This expertise positions her as a valuable asset in the design and implementation of effective health and safety strategies. Tania's active collaboration with researchers is evident in her role as a first author on a published paper and another forthcoming paper in Ergonomics and Anthropometrics and Wellbeing, respectively. These articles underscore her dedication to providing valuable insights and expertise in these specialized fields. Presently, Tânia is researching bus drivers' working conditions and ergonomics to identify areas for improvement, aiming to enhance their well-being and efficiency.
