Julio Souza is currently an Invited Assistant Teacher at the Institute of Engineering – Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal. His background includes a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Informatics (2012), a Master Degree in Bioengeering (2015), both from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and a PhD in Clinical and Health Services Research (2019), from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (Portugal). He is also member of the Health Research Network (RISE) within the Center for Health Technology and Services Research (CINTESIS). Research experience includes more than 9 years working along multidisciplinary teams in areas such as Publich Health, Health Economics, Health Data Science, Digital Health, Health Services Research, Clinical Coding and Data Quality.
