The Cell Lab is a laboratory essentially dedicated to cell culture platforms, whose objective is the development of multifaceted and versatile research for the establishment of tissue culture models and their respective analysis at the cellular and subcellular levels. Being an anchor platform, the laboratory provides all the conditions for the establishment, maintenance, and cryopreservation of cultures and cell lines, thus enabling the investigation of the biology, biochemistry, physiology, and metabolism of animal cells and tissues in vitro. In this laboratory, the approach to research questions at the cellular and tissue levels, whether fundamental or translational, is complemented by imaging and cytometry acquisition systems based on the capabilities of available microscopy (optical and fluorescence) and flow cytometry.
